Fares have increased for Thanksgiving

The average round-trip airfare for the Thanksgiving holiday to the top 10 U.S. destinations has risen 11% from last year's figures, Orbitz Worldwide reports, as travel research firms observe a spike in travel costs. Airlines are being hit by fuel costs, which are 45% higher than a year earlier, the Air Transport Association says.
