Gestational glucose levels may affect infant weight

Pregnant women who had developed high blood glucose levels at 28 weeks of gestation were 3 1/2 times more at risk of giving birth to babies weighing more than 9 pounds, 15 ounces compared with those who had the lowest glucose levels, according to Irish researchers.
