Private-equity group pays $52 million for Giordano's

Chicago-based Giordano's Enterprises has been sold to a holding company formed by Victory Park Capital for $52 million, less than a year after the deep-dish pizza chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The new owners aim to expand the concept, which currently operates in Chicago and Florida.
