Biodiesel producer applauds EPA's rejection of RFS waiver requests

After the Environmental Protection Agency denied a request to temporarily waive the Renewable Fuel Standard, an oil-industry group renewed its criticism of the standard, calling it "unrealistic and unworkable." However, biodiesel producer Renewable Energy Group welcomed the EPA's decision to uphold the RFS. "We appreciate the EPA reaffirming that RFS2 and biodiesel are working effectively as part of an 'all of the above' strategy for energy security," said CEO Daniel Oh.
