Mobile marketing can add shine to toothpaste sales

Toothpaste brands have been slow to embrace mobile marketing, still spending most of their advertising budgets on television ads. "Toothpaste is a tough category -- it's not a sexy product but it's one that consumers use every day. ... I think these brands need to shift some of that investment and test new things in mobile," said Dirk Rients, vice president of mobile at Draftfcb.
