Acer's president, incoming CEO resigns

Acer President Jim Wong, who was recently designated to become the company's next CEO, has resigned and won't succeed CEO J.T. Wang, who resigned earlier this month. Acer said the CEO post is being eliminated and founder Stan Shih is returning to temporarily run the company as chairman and president, working without a salary. Co-founder George Huang is also returning to a management role, according to Acer.
