FBI beefs up focus on food supply threats

The FBI is spending more time and money to investigate incidents of intentional food contamination, as part of the agency's larger anti-terrorism mission, said Supervisory Special Agent Thomas Rosato. Part of this effort includes optimizing the use of InfraGard, an information-sharing platform between the FBI and businesses that could be used for involving the agriculture sector in investigations.
