Medtronic's stent graft shows promising results in first-in-man trial

Medtronic said its Valiant Mona LSA stent graft showed positive results in a study evaluating use of the device in treating aortic aneurysms of the left subclavian artery. The first-in-man study, which is part of the FDA's Innovation Pathway, indicated 100% technical success in device placement and 100% patency in both the branch and main grafts, with no reports of leaks.
