Minn. school considers faculty, program cuts

Tenured faculty at Minnesota State University Moorhead could face layoffs as the school seeks to resolve a projected $5 million deficit. Both faculty and academic programs in 18 of the school's 31 departments may be facing cuts after enrollment at the school dropped by about 11% over the past four years. The school also will offer a second round of early retirement incentives to reduce faculty.
