Nutrition is an important part of cancer care, experts say

Nutrition is a big concern for cancer patients, and registered dietitian Suzanne Dixon and nutritionist Rebecca Katz address dietary issues, such as avoiding unintentional weight loss and how cancer treatments affect the ability of patients to eat properly, in a Medscape series. Katz, whose book "The Cancer Fighting Kitchen" covers evidence-based cancer-fighting properties in foods, said every bite counts for patients who do not know from day to day how much they will be able to eat.
