Panel recommends examination of gaming in Macau

The U.S.-China Economic Security Review Commission recommended examining Macau gaming due to weak financial controls in the Chinese territory. However, the panel said it "did not seek nor did it find evidence of wrongdoing by any U.S.-based casino company, either in Macau or in Las Vegas." Geoff Freeman, president and CEO of the American Gaming Association, criticized the report as "incomplete and widely dissented."
