Startup helps parents monitor their infants' health

A startup called Rest Devices has designed a special sleep shirt that allows parents to keep tabs on the health of their babies at all times. The company's product, known as the Mimo, allows parents to use their smartphones to monitor key information such as the body temperatures and breathing patterns of their children. Rest Devices has brought in $1.3 million in seed funding, and it has reached an agreement to have its product carried by a major U.S. retail chain starting next year.
