Survey: Many execs lack resources, skills to deal with fraud

Forty-one percent of business executives don't have the adequate critical skills and resources for effective fraud management, according to a survey by Deloitte. "A strong fraud-risk-management plan makes good business sense," said Donna Epps of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services. "Organizations should combine their fraud-related activities to create an integrated approach to [enterprise fraud and misuse management], which can help them improve detection of criminal activities, meet regulatory obligations and reduce costs."
