Texas methanol plant project to create 3,000 construction jobs

Dutch firm OCI N.V. has announced it will build the country's largest methanol plant in Beaumont, Texas. Construction of the facility will cost a minimum of $1 billion and will require hiring 3,000 construction workers. The firm could break ground in the latter parts of 2014, and it is scheduled to complete the job in 2016.
