Iowa town readies for the electric car revolution

The 650-person farming town of Elk Horn, Iowa, is preparing to become a beacon for electric car drivers, with four electric charging stations already online. Mike Howard, the businessman financing the project, plans to add four more charging stations along Interstate 80 next year. "We have a dream about electric vehicles, and we're going to make that a reality," Howard says.
