New technologies fight distracted driving caused by cell phone use

IT companies have developed technologies that can restrict cell phone use while driving. While ZoomSafer, Aegis Mobility and other developers are offering services that automatically disable phones inside a moving car, Ford, Microsoft and other companies are providing systems that will allow drivers to access their phones through voice-recognition and speech-to-text technologies.
