Survey finds deterioration in travel-buyer compensation

The economic downturn has prompted some travel-management companies to freeze salaries, reduce compensation and restrict benefits, according to the National Business Travel Association Foundation 2009 Travel Management Compensation and Benefits Survey. Along with deteriorating remuneration, travel buyers have also seen their job responsibilities expand.
