Pope Benedict XVI's mention of an exception to the Roman Catholic Church's opposition to condom use brought praise from HIV/AIDS activists. "There could be single cases that can be justified, for instance when a prostitute uses a condom," Benedict said, as quoted in an excerpt from a book due to be published this week.
