Regulator says Irish banks are set to accelerate asset sales:

Irish banks will be forced to either step up the pace of asset sales or increase the number of loans transferred to the country's "bad bank" as the financial sector is restructured, said Matthew Elderfield, Ireland's financial regulator. There's a good chance the industry will see more bank nationalisations, he said.
