Delta will trim 2012 international capacity amid economic uncertainty

Delta Air Lines has announced cuts to several international routes from Atlanta next year as part of its plan to trim capacity by 2% in 2012. The airline will eliminate service from Atlanta to Shanghai; Moscow; Prague; Copenhagen, Denmark; Tel Aviv, Israel; and Athens, Greece. "We're hopeful that we'll be able to resume service in the future, and we'll continue to look for opportunities to begin successful new international service from Atlanta in the future," said Trebor Banstetter, a spokesman for Delta.
