U.S. retailers have been starting the holiday shopping season ever earlier for years, but now they're moving Black Friday all the way to Thursday. Following the lead of Kmart, Toys R Us and other competitors, Walmart will open at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The shift is in part a response to more competition from online retailers.
