Cornell gives aspiring dietitians hands-on experience

Students in Cornell University's Didactic Program in Dietetics help run the school's food service program that each day feeds more than 26,000 students, faculty and visitors at 32 campus locations. Program director Emily Gier said students get a chance to explore management opportunities available to dietitians and learn about how to run a food service operation, from procurement to finance and marketing.
