Feds release instructions for insurers renewing noncompliant plans

The CMS has released examples of letters insurers must send to customers renewing health plans that do not fully comply with the Affordable Care Act. Insurers must note the noncompliant parts of policies, clearly state that consumers may switch to an exchange-sold plan and might qualify for tax credits, and note the URL and phone number for the federal exchange.
