Fiduciary plan to be voted on by SEC Investor Advisory Committee

The Securities and Exchange Commission's Investor Advisory Committee is scheduled to vote today on recommendations for how the SEC should develop a fiduciary rule for brokers. The SEC is not bound to follow the recommendations of the advisory committee, but the agency must issue a statement assessing the committee's recommendations and disclosing what actions the commission plans to take.
