High school students work to restore classic airplanes

A group of students from Lake Placid High School in Florida have been working to restore a 1946 Aeronca Champ and a 1958 Aeronca Tri-Champ, as part of an Experimental Aircraft Association project at the Chapter 1240 Aviation Development Center based at Sebring Regional Airport. "Using a state-of-the-art fabric covering system, students are using new technology to breathe new life into two classic aircraft," said a news release.
