Neb. students learn about the inner workings of county government

Students from some schools in the Wahoo, Neb., area recently met with county supervisors and elected county officials during County Government Day to learn more about the officials' duties and how local government works. Students learned about property assessments and the importance of listening to constituents, among other topics. After a group discussion, students were split into groups and visited different county offices.
