"Place Pins" could appeal to Pinterest advertisers

Pinterest has created "Place Pins," a new kind of pin that lets users record the places they've visited or hope one day to visit. With users adding 1.5 million geotagged pins every day, it's expected that the new feature will prove popular with both users and advertisers. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, in partnership with Pinterest, was one of the first to use the tool.
