New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo "has determinedly adopted radio as his medium of choice," granting more than 100 interviews to talk radio hosts over the past three years while curtailing his TV appearances, Thomas Kaplan writes. "The radio interviews allow Mr. Cuomo to reach the Albany press corps, as well as lawmakers, lobbyists and others with a passion for legislative affairs," Kaplan writes. "Invariably, his appearances are obsessively monitored by Albany insiders, and they tend to drive a blizzard of Twitter messages, followed by a flurry of blog posts and a sprinkling of news stories."
