Study: LGBT market widening horizons, spending

The LGBT market continues to increase its appeal to the travel-agent community, with travel spending projected to surpass $200 billion by 2014, according to a survey by Out Now Business Class. The market's list of preferred destinations is also expanding beyond more traditional destinations such as Berlin, Sydney and London, to include smaller places such as Helsinki, Australia's Gold Coast and Manchester, England, said Ian Johnson, CEO of Out Now Global.
