Survey: Spending on content marketing up, but marketers' confidence low

While 93% of business-to-business marketers currently use content marketing and 58% will increase their spending on it over the next year, only 42% say they do an effective job at it, according to a report from MarketingProfs and the Content Marketing Institute. It also found social media is the top distribution channel, with LinkedIn leading the pack. B2B marketers said the main purpose of the efforts is to increase brand awareness.
