Teachers turn science into entertainment spectacular

Science teachers from a Pennsylvania high school recently took to the stage to show students and other members of the public the fascinating side of science. The annual Night of Science event featured a rocket-powered skateboard, a science teacher lying on a bed of nails and students creating colorful, foamy eruptions in beakers on stage. "We're trying to create a culture at Dallastown that inspires students to take courses in science," physics teacher Mark Ilyes said.
