Pennsylvania district orders teaching of intelligent design

The Dover, Pa., school system is the first district in the nation to mandate the teaching of "intelligent design," a belief that a higher power is behind evolution. Scientists, who almost unanimously embrace Darwin's views on evolution, cannot accept the inclusion of creation theories in factually based science curricula.
