Incentive programs or recognition programs are often prescribed to CEOs needing to boost morale and employee engagement. When considering which approach to take, five questions CEOs should ask themselves are whether company morale is in a state of emergency, whether you know what truly motivates your employees, whether you need to hit only a quarterly target, whether you are trying to motivate your entire workforce or just a few performers, and whether you and your team are making engagement an art as well as science.
