District improves instruction with teacher collaboration

Teachers at a Wyoming elementary school meet once each month to discuss individual student-assessment data -- collected three times each year -- and consider ways to improve instruction to meet student needs. That initiative is just one of several changes undertaken by the district to improve instruction. Officials also lightened the load for teachers, reducing the amount of time spent in meetings and on evaluations.
