High triglycerides raise health risks during pregnancy

Pregnant women with high triglyceride levels may raise their risk of preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, researchers reported. Study data showed the prevalence of preeclampsia or gestational diabetes was 7.2% in women with low triglycerides and 19.8% in those with high triglyceride levels.
