More consumers paid credit card bill on time in Q3

TransUnion reported that the delinquency rate on bank-issued credit cards dropped from 1.17% in the second quarter to 1.1% in the third quarter. Delinquency rates generally rise from the second quarter to the third quarter, said Ezra Becker of TransUnion. Delinquency rates also declined from the first to second quarters of this year, indicating that consumers are improving their debt management.
