N.C. company gets $100K green-business grant for nanotech research

The North Carolina Green Business Fund has awarded a $100,000 grant to nanotechnology company PureLux. The company, which was spun off from the Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular Materials at Wake Forest University, is developing commercial sources of light said to have 10 times the efficiency of incandescents and three times the efficiency of fluorescents.
