Obama to state plans on climate summit in coming days, officials say:

President Barack Obama will decide whether he will attend next month's climate-change summit in Copenhagen, in the coming days, administration officials said. "I think it's likely he will go," said Alden Meyer of the Union of Concerned Scientists. About 65 heads of state, including U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, have already confirmed their participation, said Michael Helbo, a spokesman for Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen.
