Remote therapy may help people with eating disorders

An online report in The Lancet found remote therapies such as e-mail, text messaging and Web sites may help people recover from some eating disorders. Researchers said that with professional oversight, these remote therapies could work for those with bulimia nervosa and binge-eating disorder but not anorexia nervosa.
