Stunts cause 60% of cheerleading injuries in the U.S. and 96% of reported concussions and closed-head injuries, a study found. Researchers at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, said 53% of cheerleader injuries were sprains and strains and 83% occurred during practices.
