Study: Restaurants are serving endangered bluefin tuna

A study that uses DNA codes to identify fish in restaurants found that bluefin tuna, which is endangered, appears frequently on customer plates. The study looked at 30 restaurants in New York City and one in Denver, and found that nearly a third of the fish labeled as tuna was in fact bluefin, and nearly half the restaurants did not correctly label the tuna used in their sushi.
