Congressional Republicans turn focus to consumer agency

Republicans in the House are turning their attention to concerns about how the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is being set up. Reps. Judy Biggert, R-Ill., and Spencer Bachus, R-Ala., sent letters to the inspectors general of the Treasury Department and Federal Reserve telling them to investigate the preparations for the launch of the bureau. They called for "rigorous" oversight.
