National chains debut online deals for Thanksgiving Day shoppers

A growing number of retailers plan to meet their shoppers online Thursday, catering to former Black Friday fans like Amanda Thomas Perry. Perry and millions of others across the country expect to shop online at some point on Thanksgiving Day rather than brave cranky pre-dawn crowds Friday, and chains including Kohl's, Wal-Mart, Macy's and J.C. Penney will offer virtually all of their early deals online.
