Report: Vast majority of merchants plan Cyber Monday promotions

Cyber Monday has grown in importance since NRF coined the phrase five years ago to illustrate the then-fledgling trend of shopping online the Monday after Thanksgiving. This year, 88.2% of retailers plan to offer Cyber Monday promotions, according to an NRF survey, which also found that more than half of U.S. workers with Internet access will shop from the office this season.
