SBA supports the repeal of the health care reform's 1099 provision

The Small Business Administration has issued an open letter to small-business owners backing repeal of the 1099 provision of the health care reform law. "The unintended consequence of a potential paperwork burden resulting from this provision quickly came to light," said SBA Administrator Karen Mills in the letter, which called the provision to increase 1099 reporting requirements burdensome.
