This Thanksgiving, don't talk turkey

As you plan your Thanksgiving menu, bear in mind that turkeys have a far greater environmental impact than other poultry. It takes more fossil fuel to produce a pound of turkey than is required to produce a pound of chicken, scientists say. That means that if everyone prepared chicken dinners instead of turkey this Thanksgiving, the U.S. could reduce its carbon emissions.
