RFA's Hartwig: House bill is a "Trojan horse effort" to weaken RFS2

Livestock producers are endorsing a bill by Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., that seeks to adjust the ethanol portion of the Renewable Fuel Standard if corn supplies fall below a certain level. Renewable Fuels Association spokesman Matt Hartwig said the bill is "little more than a Trojan horse effort" to weaken or repeal RFS2. The complaints against ethanol by livestock producers and meat processors are overblown, said Hartwig.
