Yahoo! challenges YouTube in India's online-video market

Yahoo! announced it has launched a free online-video service in India that will focus on original and licensed content. The Internet search company is looking to tap the Indian market -- where 150 million people are expected to come online in the next three years -- while giving users an alternative to Google, whose YouTube service distributes primarily user-generated videos.
