ASTA: Internet is a valuable tool, but it can't replace agents

Although the travel agent industry has been affected by the Internet, agents are surviving because of the benefits they provide. Agents can save clients time and money, while offering expertise, personal service and guidance, according to ASTA. Thus, agents continue to book the bulk of cruises, tours and airline tickets.
