Dooley: Climate policies should consider commercial deployment needs

Any legislative proposals on the nation's climate policy should consider how climate and energy issues are interrelated, writes Cal Dooley, CEO of the American Chemistry Council, in a solicited comment on National Journal's Energy & Environment blog. Proposals should include policies that expand access to domestic supplies of natural gas and policies should align emissions-reductions schedules with the commercial deployment of lower-emissions energy sources and technologies, he writes.
